Two ‘out of control’ teenagers have been captured on video hanging precariously from the side of a moving tram.
The potentially deadly stunt took place on the Gold Coast’s G:link tram as it passed the Surfers Paradise light rail stop near Ocean Avenue.
Footage of the wild moment was captured and shared by another commuter, showing the two teenagers clinging to the closed outer doors of the tram.
A teenage boy, wearing a light blue shirt and black shorts, and carrying a black backpack, clung to the doors, while another boy in a white shirt with a backpack held the doors of the next light rail car.
As the tram passed the stop, the teenagers were seen passing dangerously close to the edge of the platform.
Stunned onlookers watched as the teens were unperturbed by their dangerous stunt.
A witness told the Gold Coast Bulletin the teens became “out of control.”

A spokesperson for GoldLinQ told Ny Breaking Australia that the light rail tracks are intended for public transport and should not be used to endanger public safety.
“Safety is our first priority and we continue to remind people that ‘tracks are for trams,'” the spokesperson said.
“A fine of up to $619 may be imposed for interfering with a public passenger vehicle.”
Queensland Police told Ny Breaking Australia no complaint had been received about the behavior seen in the video.
The latest incident comes after a terrifying video emerged in December last year showing another teenager clinging precariously to the doors of a moving G:Link tram.
After about 10 seconds, the teenager appeared to let go of the tram door and fall onto the tram tracks.
Footage of the shocking stunt was uploaded to TikTok, with one user claiming in the comments section of the post that the boy was not injured.
A spokesperson for AG:link told Ny Breaking Australia at the time that “such reckless behavior is extremely dangerous.”
“We have a simple message for those who engage in this activity: do not put yourself or others at risk.”

“There are more than 300 CCTV cameras across the network, monitored 24/7, and this behavior will be immediately reported to Queensland Police.”
The G:link light rail service which opened in 2014 is the only light rail network in Queensland.
Thousands of passengers use the service, which runs through 19 light rail stations on the Gold Coast.
The trams run at an average speed of 23 km/h, but the vehicles can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h.
