Josh’s sister Amy shared the happy news on her Instagram Story on Saturday, affectionately saying she “got a sister.”
She then posted a photo of the proposal after Josh set out red roses, candles, photos of couples and a light-up Marry Me sign.
Amy added in another story: “Welcome to the Han family, I couldn’t ask for anyone better.”
Josh and Hannah are teenage sweethearts who have been in a relationship since they were seventeen.
It comes just days after Josh announced he is standing as a Labor MP at the next election, hoping to oust the Deputy Prime Minister.
The TV personality, who appeared on the hit show with his family, announced to his followers this week that he has been selected as a parliamentary candidate for the Hertsmere constituency.
The Hertfordshire constituency is currently represented by Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden.
Mr Dowden held the safe Tory seat at the 2019 general election with an overwhelming majority of 21,313 and 62.5 per cent of the vote, so it will be an uphill battle for Mr Tapper if he wants to topple the senior politician.
Hertsmere has only been represented by a Conservative MP since its formation in 1983, but Mr Tapper has said he wants to be the man to reverse that trend.
