Godzilla and Baymax are coming to Fortnite, leaks suggest

Fortnite‘s next battle pass will feature collaborations with Godzilla and Big hero 6reliable leaky Shiina claimed via X (formerly Twitter) on November 25.

The leak appears to be a promotional image intended for a conference booth – possibly next month’s CCXPif the presence of Portuguese in the image is any indication – and both an American-style Godzilla and Big hero 6 robot Baymax in his red Super Armor alongside some that we can only assume are original Fortnite Characters are also added in the first season of Chapter 6. The word in the logo, “Caçada,” is Brazilian Portuguese and roughly translates to “Hunt” in English, which could be the subtitle of the chapter.

That wet, chewing sound you hear is Fortnite continue to suck up every existing intellectual property. While it’s pretty clear that Baymax will be a playable skin, the size of Godzilla in the image indicates that we may see the irradiated monster act as a menace on the map rather than carrying an assault rifle into battle as a miniature version of himself.

Fortnite players are currently enjoying Chapter 2 Remixeswhich resets the Battle Royale map to what it looked like all the way back in the heady days of 2019, with new appearances from musicians like Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem and Juice WRLD. The game’s original map will also return as a permanent game mode on December 6, shortly after Chapter 6 kicks off in earnest.
