Go inside Nathan Cleary’s $1.7million home – as footy star shows off feature every man would die for

Footy superstar Nathan Cleary has allowed fans into his home for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at NRL side Penrith Panthers.

Cleary, 26, is the proud owner of a beautiful $1.7 million riverfront home in Sydney’s west, located on the Nepean River. Last year he bought the property from his parents.

Since then, he has overseen exciting renovations to the house and allowed cameras to give fans an insight into his life away from the football field.

“I like it here, where I can come home and get away from the spotlight. It’s a place where I can really be myself and relax,” he said.

He showed off his “chill room,” complete with a widescreen TV and video games.

‘This is the cold room. I come here to relax.

“It’s pretty busy, I’ll come here and play some games.”

The house also features a swimming pool and a newly constructed putting green, the envy of most sports-obsessed men his age.

‘I have a swimming pool which is nice when it gets hot in the summer, and I also recently had the putting green installed, so that’s another nice addition.’

However, Cleary has encountered one problem with the new addition to his home. His dog, Prince, has not understood the concept of putting.

“I can’t bring Prince here because he’s obsessed with the golf balls,” Cleary said, as his dog intercepted one of his putts for good measure.

Last November, Sydney interior design studio Alicia Xiberras Interiors lifted the lid on their designs for the property.

“Introducing our bathroom design for our local Penrith legend, Nathan Cleary,” the studio wrote.

However, he has encountered problems that have prevented Prince from intercepting the ball

‘This bathroom is the definition of urban masculine style, with a luxurious look. To achieve this, the AXI team created a contrasting color palette with a mix of refined and unique shapes to bring Nathan’s vision to life.

The design studio also shared a video clip set in Cleary’s home, where Cleary expresses his interest in modern design ideas.

Set in green surroundings with indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, the house features large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The spacious home is also close to BlueBet Stadium, which is very convenient for Panthers home games and practices.
