GMB’s Ranvir Singh reveals she secretly split from her husband when she was seven months pregnant as she admits she’s been a single mum for 12 years following toyboy reveal

Ranvir Singh has revealed that she secretly divorced her husband when she was seven months pregnant, while admitting that she has been a single mother for 12 years.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 46, has been in a relationship with Louis Church, who at 28, is 18 years her junior, since September 2020 after meeting him while working backstage during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing .

Opening White Wine Question Time with the Kate Thornton podcast, she said: ‘I’ve actually been a single mum since I was seven months pregnant. I’ve kept it so quiet, but I can talk about it now.

“Now I’m at a point in my life where I think I’m learning to embrace my whole life and not compartmentalize it so much, to keep everything separate. And that’s my thing.

‘I’d like to correct it today. Obviously my friends and family knew. It shows that you can stay private, whatever you want!’

It comes after Ranvir took the next step in her relationship with boyfriend Louis Church after she moved him in with her and her son.

The broadcaster has now provided insight into her routine at home with Louis.

She told me The Telegraph: ‘[At 5:30am] I try to talk myself back to sleep, but that doesn’t always work. I get up, make a decaffeinated tea and start chopping an onion for a dahl for lunch.

‘My partner Louis is terrible. He’s always hitting snooze every ten minutes – it’s driving me crazy!’

Before Louis moved in, Ranvir already lived with her 10-year-old son Tushaan, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal, and her mother.

The TV star said she likes to dress up for weekend walks with Louis and her dog.

She added: ‘[At 11am] A quick shower and then off for a family dog ​​walk with our cockerpoo, Shmizzels, in the Chiltern Hills.

‘This time of year I wear my knee-high furry UGG boots – they are my best investment! On the weekends I’m make-up free and I don’t care what I look like.’

Ranvir previously said people are too ‘obsessed’ with age gaps as she revealed she was ‘blissfully happy’ with her toyboy partner.

“I knew Louis was special from the moment he walked in… He instinctively knew exactly what I needed… I don’t see an age difference,” she said Woman & Home.

‘What really matters in any form of relationship in life is a synchronicity of values ​​and emotions. I don’t know why we’re so obsessed with the age difference.’

Ranvir continued, “As we are now, we are blissfully happy and Louis is very much living in the present.”

The journalist confirmed her new romance in December 2021, saying: ‘I’m really happy.’
