  • But he has returned in stunning fashion

Glenn Maxwell has returned in style after 120 unbeaten runs against West Indies.

The great all-rounder was embroiled in drama last month after being admitted to hospital following a boozy day out at a golf club with teammates and cricket legends.

The incident led to further questions about the World Cup winner’s relationship with alcohol.

Maxwell returned to the Australian team for the T20 series against the West Indies and after being dismissed for ten runs in Friday’s match, he regained his form in sensational fashion in Adelaide.

The veteran smashed 120 runs without losing his wicket as the Aussies set a target of 242 runs for the visitors.
