An Australian film employee has given a behind-the-scenes look at the rumored scandal involving Hollywood superstars Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney.
The production worker who worked on the rom-com Everyone But You during filming in Sydney said he and his colleagues assumed the pair were already “a couple” when filming began.
Both Powell, 34, and Sweeney, 25, were in long-term relationships before the cameras started rolling, but both now appear to have ended things with their respective partners.
Powell’s girlfriend Gigi Paris confirmed their breakup on Thursday with a caustic Instagram post.
Sweeney’s fiancee Jonathan Davino, meanwhile, was spotted packing his bags at the couple’s LA home, with their dog and his golf clubs.

It follows the week-long shoot in and around Sydney that showed an undeniable chemistry between the two Hollywood stars whose careers are skyrocketing after some huge recent hits.
And according to the film worker, the chemistry kicked in when the cameras stopped rolling.
“To be honest, we thought they were already a couple,” he said, admitting he wasn’t “too familiar” with either actor prior to shooting.
“I knew him from Top Gun. But I just assumed they were a couple in real life.
That’s what it looked like for most of us. And also for some extras. It was talked about during (production) breaks that they seemed close from day one.’
Both Powell and Sweeney also spent free time together, including a day out at Taronga Zoo on March 21 and an open-top bus tour.

Powell also posted some suggestive snaps of Sweeney on his Instagram.
All of the above fuels the rumor that the world’s brightest stars have fallen head over heels on set and then dumped their partners for each other.
Powell, who rose to fame thanks to his handsome Top Gun turn as Hangman, is tipped to star in the hyped re-boot of Twister with British it-girl Daisy Edgar Jones.
Sweeney, meanwhile, has gained worldwide fame thanks to breakout roles in teen drama Euphoria and Showtime hit The White Lotus.
Powell’s model girlfriend Gigi Paris shared a cryptic Instagram post on Wednesday, shortly after she unfollowed Sweeney on the app.
“Know your worth and on to the next one,” she captioned a video of her walking down a street as she turned to the camera to flash a smile.
Once the post was uploaded, Sweeney’s fiancé Jonathan Davino – a Chicago-based businessman who proposed to the actress in 2022 – was photographed loading his car with belongings.

Looking dejected and wearing dark sunglasses, Davino — who also acts as producer on Everyone But You — was seen piling a number of belongings into his SUV, including the couple’s dog, a pit bull cross named Tank.
It comes just days after the couple denied that their relationship was on the rocks following intense media speculation.
However, Sweeney and Powell seemed to escape media attention this week when they made a flirty appearance at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas.
Sweeney told the audience that she affectionately calls him “Top Gun” because of his role in Top Gun: Maverick.
“We like to see ourselves on the big screen,” Powell joked before the first trailer for their upcoming movie played.
“Oh, please, Top Gun,” the White Lotus star replied, prompting Powell to tell convention attendees, “I love it when she calls me that.”

Sweeney and Powell wouldn’t be the first actors to fall for each other while filming a movie.
Probably the most famous example is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who fell in love while filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005, with Pitt running away from his wife Jennifer Aniston.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were both dating other people when they met on the set of Green Lantern in 2011, and the pair went on to marry and have three children.
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz were also attached to other people when they fell hard while filming Dream House.
Craig was engaged to Satsuki Mitchell and Weisz was married to director Darren Aronofsky.
