The Top Gun: Maverick star, 35, stripped off and showed off his chiseled physique in the photos.
In the interview accompanying the sizzling photos, Powell – who returned to Australia to reshoot some scenes for his upcoming rom-com – spoke about the rumors of him and his 26-year-old Everyone But You co-star.
“When all those things happened publicly, it felt disorienting and unfair,” he said of the affair rumors that arose when the two showed serious chemistry on set.
“But what I realize is that this is now just part of this gig,” he added.

And there were some fallout from the rumors: he and his girlfriend of three years, Gigi Paris, broke up.
The whole situation made the Set It Up actor realize that dating while famous is a whole new beast.
“If you’re talking to a girl or something like that, and you say, ‘We have a really good connection, we have a really great interaction,’ and then they ask you for a selfie, then it’s like, ‘Oh …,” he explained.
But Powell has figured out what kind of long-term partner he’s looking for and said it has to be someone who can handle his busy career.
“On a romantic level, you have to find a teammate who is up for that adventure, that uncertainty, that thing,” he said.
‘There’s a lot involved. Honestly, I really try to be a great partner. When I love, I love hard. “I also understand that the speed and uncertainty of my life are very difficult to bear,” he admitted.
The Devotion actor trained hard for his stripped-down cover shoot for Men’s Health.
His trainer, Nick Mitchell, explained to the magazine what it took to get Powell’s chiseled look.

Mitchell found a balance between lifting heavy weights to add muscle and strength and the smaller exercises that cut muscle.
Powell trained four days a week, first working his arms, abs and shoulders and then taking a day off. He then trained his chest and back, took another day off and then did a leg day.
The Hit Man actor also kept his diet on track. For breakfast he got a sandwich with sweet potatoes, eggs, kale and hot sauce.
However, he admitted that he sometimes skips breakfast and has a big lunch or dinner after working out. And when he cheats, ice cream is his favorite snack.
