- Teen drove a car and stabbed
- Victoria Police are on the hunt for the perpetrators
A teenage boy is fighting for his life after being pulled into a car and stabbed by a group of men during a suspected armed robbery.
Police are actively looking for the thugs who took the boy, 14, in a dark gray Volkswagen Tiguan on Neerim Road outside Glen Eira College in Glen Huntly, south-east Melbourne, just after school ended at about 3.35pm.
The victim, believed to be a student at Glen Eira College, was walking home from school at the time of the abduction.
It is clear that the perpetrators were armed with machetes and stabbed the victim during an altercation in the car.
The car then drove a short distance before the boy was thrown out or managed to get out at the corner of Neerim Road and Grange Road.

He was pulled into a dark gray Volkswagen outside Glen Eira College at Melbourne’s Glen Huntly at around 3:35pm, before suffering ‘significant injuries’, and then forced out of the car.
He suffered life-threatening injuries after the altercation.
One student saw the victim lying on the floor and coughing up blood. Witnesses called emergency services.
The boy was rushed to the Royal Children’s Hospital. His condition is serious but stable.
Police are investigating the possibility that the attack is linked to an earlier incident where four teenagers were robbed by two machete-wielding perpetrators on nearby Kambrook Road at around 3.25pm.
A statement from Victoria Police confirmed the teen had suffered “significant injuries” during the attack.
The police do not know how many perpetrators were involved in the kidnapping.
