Kevin McHale and Heather Morris responded to a song with AI-generated versions of their voices in a video shared on their TikTok account earlier this month.

The 35-year-old artist and 36-year-old actress were recently made aware of a cover of Doechii’s track What It Is which was made with impressions of their singing from their time on the hit musical comedy series Glee.

The actor, who recently shared that he had an intervention staged for him by several of his castmates, initially recorded a duet with the song, performing various dance moves throughout its length.

Morris went on to film a duet reacting to McHale’s clip, and she seemed to have been just as ecstatic about the project as her co-star.

In addition to the couple, the cover also featured the AI-generated voice of their former castmate, Amber Riley.

The former has since collaborated with his former costar, Jenna Ushkowitz, on a podcast titled And that’s what you REALLY missedin which the pair commentate on each episode of Glee.

On one of their most recent episodes, the two talked about asking the show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy if they could pull the original song Loser Like Me from the program.

The pair recalled that even after a “scary” and “embarrassing” conversation, the entertainment industry mainstay refused to cut the song from the show.

He sort of talked us off a ledge and also said, “Well, that’s not up to you.” He didn’t say that in so many words,” McHale explained.
