Glastonbury viewers have gone wild over an enthusiastic sign language interpreter signing during Friday’s Foo Fighters set.
While tens of thousands of music fans flocked to Somerset’s Worthy Farm for the festival, millions stayed home to watch the action on TV.
And during the rock band’s surprise performance on the Pyramid stage during the hour-long “secret” slot, fans at home loved the British Sign Language interpreter.
The women in question beamed as she drew and knew every word as she performed with enthusiasm and great energy.
On Twitter, viewers were quick to praise her for really going for it, calling her a “hero” who was the “star of the show.”

‘Wow! Go girl! Well done,” was the response of a fourth person.

Fans previously thought the alias referred to Britpop band Pulp, but the Daily Mail then confirmed that it would be The Foo Fighters who would make the surprise appearance.
