Dua Lipa is gearing up for her biggest gig yet, as Glastonbury and Coachella festival bosses reportedly compete to secure her as their headliner next summer.

According to insiders, the British pop sensation (28) is currently unsure of her decision, but is carefully considering offers.

Should Dua decide to perform on the famed Pyramid Stage at Glastowe’s Worthy Farm, it would be her first appearance in seven years, with her final performance taking place on the smaller John Peel Stage.

The source said Sun: ‘The duo loves Glastonbury and when she last played there, she described it as her “favourite thing ever”.

“She knows how huge this opportunity is, but so is Coachella.”

‘Dua has been in both as a player before and loves everything about them. She feels so honored and excited to even be considered by the organizers.’

MailOnline has contacted a representative for the duo, and Glastonbury and Coachella organizers, for comment.

The news comes as the singer prepares to release her long-awaited third album in early 2024.

The source added: “There’s a lot on this album and Dua falls short.

“It will cement her as one of the biggest pop stars ever to come out of the UK.”

But fans won’t have to wait long to hear fresh tracks, with some of the new music coming out in just two months.

Speaking about her upcoming album, Dua said: “I’ve definitely grown up.

“Overall, whether it’s sonically or in terms of themes, I’ve matured.” It’s like I’m coming into my power and I’m not afraid to talk about things. It’s about understanding what I want.’

Humble: Insiders say she’s aware of how huge the opportunity is to perform both there and at Coachella, and feels ‘honoured and excited to even be considered’

Busy: News of the festival comes as Dua is set to release his long-awaited third album and star in film Argille early next year

The brunette beauty is also set to star in the film, Argille, alongside actors Henry Cavill and John Cena on February 2, 2024.

The trailer opens with Dua playing the ultimate femme fatale as she seductively tells him, “I sure hope you dance the way you dress.” To which he says, ‘You’ll soon find out’, before sweeping her off her feet.

Both Henry, 40, and Dua, who had a small role in Barbie, play characters from the book by novelist Eli Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard).

The actor takes on the role of Agent Argyle, while Dua plays another spy. The plot follows an introverted spy novelist drawn into the real world of espionage when the plots of her books become too close to the activities of a sinister underground syndicate.
