Glamorous Russian equestrian accused of taking out $2M hit on husband ‘is sex-crazed bisexual who loved “doing naughty things” and being an “icy b*tch” to male lovers’

A glamorous Russian equestrian accused of hiring a hitman to kill her husband was “wild”, bisexual and extremely ruthless, former friends said.

Tatyana Remley, 42, was arrested on August 2 after the man she asked to kill her husband Mark Remley turned out to be an undercover police officer. She is being held in a San Diego jail.

Acquaintances told The New York Post that she was scheming and manipulative, and milked Mark Remley – who inherited $26 million from his parents – for his money.

“I was surprised she would be so sassy, but I know a few guys who ‘played’ with her and they said she was an icy b****,” a former friend told the paper.

Another said she was ‘sex crazy’ and used her looks to seduce rich men.

Tatyana Remley and her husband had started several unsuccessful businesses over the years, including an indoor cycling studio (pictured) called Rhythm and Power

“She started with the polo players and soon turned to the rich men,” says the former friend.

‘She was crazy about sex and several boys were into her. When you have a body like that, it attracts attention.

‘Tatyana did some pretty naughty things and also had a girlfriend. And she got away with it.”

The friends said she worked her way through the San Diego polo scene before settling down with Mark, who, like them, had previously been married and had children.

“I always wondered how she got someone like Mark,” says a former acquaintance.

“Anyone who wants to be honest thinks she was very, very lucky.”

He financed her disastrous pet project, a “Cirque de Soleil with horses,” bankrupting the company he founded for the show in 2012.

She then turned her attention to polo – despite not being a strong rider – and convinced him to buy her five polo ponies.

Entry-level ponies cost between $5,000 and $15,000, but experienced animals trained in the best yards can cost up to $200,000.

“I knew she wasn’t a very good rider, but she thought she was a superstar,” said a friend.

She fell off in her first match and broke her arm at the San Diego Polo Club in August 2015.

She then decided she was no longer interested and the ponies were sold.

In 2015, the pair opened a cycling studio called Rhythm and Power, but it closed the following year for unknown reasons.

In April, Tatyana Remley said she and Mark were planning to move to Wellington, Florida, where the National Polo Center is located.

But in July, she filed for divorce, claiming her husband and his friends entered their home on May 21 and one of his friends raped her as Mark watched and laughed.

“They forced their way into my bedroom and held me at gunpoint,” Tatjana Remley said in her statement.

‘I was raped by one of his friends, who also told me he planned to kill me. This all happened while defendant watched and laughed, allowing his friends to continue.

“They were going to break my expensive horse statue in the yard and put the horse’s head in my bed, Godfather style.”

She claimed in the documents that her husband was a cocaine addict and had violent outbursts due to mental illness.

Friends told the Post they did not believe her claims, saying the couple both liked cigars and vodka, but Mark Remley was never known to use drugs.

She told a mutual friend in early July that she wanted to kill him – and the friend went to the police, who arranged a sting operation.

The undercover officer, posing as a hit man, arranged to meet her on August 2 at a Starbucks on Loma Santa Fe Drive.

She allegedly took three firearms and a ‘down payment’ with her.

“She provided detailed information about how she wanted her husband killed and his body disposed of,” San Diego County Sheriff’s Department officials said.

She has pleaded not guilty.
