Glamorous mugshot of woman, 18, arrested after crushing man under wheels of his own Porsche

An 18-year-old Brampton, Ontario, woman suspected of stealing a Porsche and then running over its owner while posing as a potential buyer was arrested Thursday.

The photo of Sarah Badshaw was taken after she turned herself in, just a day after police released video of the horrific crime.

The Brampton resident has since been charged with four offences related to the theft of the Porsche, including dangerous driving causing bodily harm, theft of the vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a licence.

Police also said Badshaw is “involved in multiple investigations” and is wanted by other GTA police forces in connection with separate investigations.

Shockingly, Badshaw works part-time as a babysitter through an online profile, offering her services and claiming she would be a great addition to any family.

Badshaw wrote: ‘Hello, my name is Sarah Badshaw. I am 18 years old and still in school.

‘I am very hardworking and come from a big family with 8 brothers and sisters. I love children, I love the outdoors and I love making new friends and helping these friends grow and helping them with everything they need.

“If you read my profile, consider me one of the best people I know. I am sure I can help your family grow:)”

Brampton police expect to make more arrests in their search for an expensive gray SUV, a Bentley Bentayga, described as an accomplice’s vehicle.

Police also revealed that Badshaw, 18, is “linked to numerous investigations” and is wanted by other GTA police forces in connection with separate investigations. They also expect to make more arrests as they search for an accomplice vehicle.

The shocking security footage captured the moment Badshaw ran over the Porsche owner after she arrived at the victim’s home after seeing an ad for his SUV on AutoTrader.

When she arrived at the house on September 6, she was heard on Ring CCTV saying to the owner, “Hi, I’m here for the Porsche.” She then asked if she could “take a look” while she waited for her father.

The footage shows the driveway of the victim’s home — near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga — as she and the owner inspect the 2022 Porsche Cayenne. She decides to drive off, seconds after the owner exits the passenger seat.

The victim, who has not been named, suspected that the woman wanted to drive away with his car as soon as he got out. He tried to open the driver’s side door before driving to the back.

The victim, who has not been named, appeared to suspect the woman fled in his car once he got out of the vehicle, as he attempted to open the driver’s door before walking to the back

When he reached the back of the car, the woman aggressively backed into the street, dragging the victim with her.

It appeared that he was caught by one of the rear wheels and fell flat on the street.

The victim said CTV News Toronto that he had sustained injuries to his elbow, hands and legs and required medical attention following the incident.

Peel police have since expressed their gratitude for the ‘power of social media’ in capturing the suspect.

Officer Tyler Bell told CP24: “We released that video on Wednesday afternoon and within 24 hours it had been shared 95,000 times.

“We subsequently received numerous tips from the public which allowed us to identify her very quickly and effectively pressure her into turning herself in to the police,” he added.
