The Pilates expert trains some of the hottest stars from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, including ‘naked’ artist Dina Broadhurst, stylist Jade Yarbrough and model Madeleine Holtznagel.
Recently, Bernadette told Ny Breaking Australia that she starts her training sessions with meditation and breathing exercises.
She then incorporates stretches to warm up the body before “targeting the muscles with small repetitive movements.”
Bernadette said she recommends planks because it “works the whole body,” and “lunges are a great way to shape the legs, work on balance, and work your glutes.”
“Abdominal crunches are also great for getting definition on the top of the abs,” she added.
She explained that it is important to exercise daily, but said it is essential to include moderate to high intensity exercise at least three times a week.
