Gladiators star Legend’s son, two, is rushed to hospital after having a seizure in the bath in terrifying health scare

The two-year-old son of Gladiators star Legend was rushed to hospital after suffering a seizure in the bath.

Matt Morsia’s wife Sarah revealed on Instagram on Tuesday that she was ‘uncontrollably’ jerking off their youngest son Mauro face down in the water during the terrifying health crisis.

Matt, 38, and Sarah quickly called an ambulance and were told by medics that Mauro was having febrile convulsions caused by his chickenpox.

A shocked Sarah wrote: ‘Last week Mauro suffered from febrile convulsions.

‘He got chickenpox and the fever caused seizures (it’s quite common in children around the age of 2 during the onset of an illness).

‘We called an ambulance who came quickly and took us to the hospital and he is doing well now (he is just waiting for the last spots to become available).

‘Anyway, the first attack happened while he was in the bath and within moments he was face down under the water and jerking uncontrollably. Luckily I was sitting next to the tub and was able to pick him up right away and call Matt for help, but I feel sick thinking about what could have happened.

‘I don’t normally share things like this, but it’s easy to quickly throw the socks in the wash or grab some pajamas while the kids are in the bath, but really… not worth the risk!

‘Ps As you can see he is doing much better and enjoying his holiday’ (sic).

Sarah shared a photo of Mauro in a hospital bed as he recovered from the health scare.

The mother-of-two also uploaded several photos from their sun-soaked family holiday, as Mauro got back on his feet.
