Mitch, an accountant and semi-professional footballer, was first photographed with Nicola at an Elton John concert in June 2022.
Her fiancé plays for Essex team Grays Athletic and was captain of the British team at the European Maccabi Games in Israel.
Nicola’s last public relationship was with Charlie Fennell, with whom she dated for six years until late 2013. According to her, the relationship ‘ended up’.
Before this, she had a brief relationship with Carl Davies, by whom she was harassed online after their relationship broke up.
He was spared prison but was given a restraining order after being convicted of stalking Nicola, which included threatening to stab and burn her, after he created 35 fake social media accounts to send thousands of messages.
He targeted the pop star more than four years after their relationship ended. Nicola never replied to any of the messages, but meticulously copied each message which she then handed to the police.
He was later sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after admitting sending death threats to former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin and threatening to rape her daughter.

The Love Machine hitmakers entertained their fans with a fantastic setlist including Watch Me Go, while their performance of The Loving Kind was performed by Eurovision star Olly Alexander.
During the performance, Madonna’s hit Material Girl was also covered.
Fans rushed to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the incredible headliner, calling their performance ‘unreal’ and ‘absolutely incredible’:
‘Finally saw Girls Aloud live at Brighton Pride. It was absolutely amazing. Absolutely amazing #BrightonPride #Fabulosa.’
‘Wow, Girls Aloud were so good at #BrightonPride.’
The Pride performance comes after the girl group completed their 20th anniversary reunion tour last month, which concluded with an exclusive performance at London’s O2 Priority.
The girl group toured England, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland from mid-May to late June, performing a total of 30 shows.
The Girls Aloud Show tour was the group’s first tour without Sarah Harding and each show featured a tribute to her.
Girls Aloud incorporated images and even vocals from Sarah into their performances of their hits.
A notable addition was Sarah’s infamous ‘walking Primrose’ bridge in their 2008 hit The Promise.
This was especially emotional when the group performed in Sarah’s hometown of Manchester, in the presence of Sarah’s mother Marie.
Sarah announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer a year before her death at the age of 39. Unfortunately, the cancer had spread to other parts of her body.
During her final months, Sarah moved in with Cheryl and her son Bear, with whom she has a child, Liam Payne.
After her death, Nadine, Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola decided to fulfil Sarah’s last wish and go on tour in her honour.
Proceeds from the sold-out performance of The Girls Aloud Show were donated to The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal, raising money for research into the disease.
