‘Today is the day for these absolute queens! @girlsaloud on @thismorning don’t miss it! Clearly I had to release a little Reel, so easy to direct,” Alison joked in her caption.
The group confirmed last week that they are reuniting for a Greatest Hits tour in honor of their late bandmate Sarah Harding, who tragically died in September 2021 at the age of 39, after a battle with the chest cancer.
Fans shared their hysteria as they rushed to get tickets on Wednesday when pre-sales started.
The group will hit the road in May and June 2024 in recognition of the 21 years this month since she and the late Sarah won Popstars: The Rivals.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting ticket sales after rejoicing over the comeback news, sharing their excitement as pre-sales finally begin.
Pre-sales started at 9am on November 29 and fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their desperation for tickets as they eagerly queued.
One wrote: ‘If I don’t get Girls Aloud tickets Christmas will be cancelled,’ while a second said: ‘The odds are ever in your favour.’
A third shared a photo of their many devices logged in as they entered the presale, writing: “Stressed, depressed, girls out loud obsessed.”
Another joked: ‘Good luck to my fellow Hunger Games participants fighting for Girls Aloud tickets,’ and a fifth wrote: ‘I’m going to battle for Girls Aloud tickets. see you soon.’
