It’s the end of Boys World as we know it.
The group Me, My Girls & I announced on Friday that they are splitting up after “the most incredible five years,” thanking their STARS (their term for fans) in an emotional TikTok video.
“What we’re about to say is very difficult for us to comprehend,” Olivia Ruby began in the two-and-a-half minute clamp‘But after five wonderful, unforgettable years, we’re going our separate ways.’
The group paused several times during the video, shedding tears and making each other laugh.
“We have created so many wonderful memories and are so grateful for all we have accomplished together,” said Lillian Kay.

“What we’re about to say is very hard for us to comprehend,” Olivia Ruby began in the two-and-a-half minute clip. “But after five wonderful, unforgettable years, we’re breaking up.”
“We’re mostly grateful that we did it together,” she added. “And after everything, we still have each other, and that’s the most important thing.”
Makhyli Simpson said: ‘So many of our dreams have come true and we are so blessed and fortunate to have been able to travel the country and perform our music.
“And of course the best part was meeting you, the STARS. We love you,” she added.
Queenie Mae Villaluz noted that they are “full of emotions right now. F—, it’s sad. We’re all really f—ing sad about this.
“Of course, for the past five years, it’s always been just each other. We’ve been through so much in this group, and I can’t imagine going through all that we’ve been through without these girls. I’m so, so grateful for them.
Villaluz added: “Change is really, really scary and uncomfortable, not just for us, but for everyone. Especially because this has been our entire world for the past five years.
“But we’re really excited to figure out what we want to pursue individually next. We really hope that you guys will continue to support us individually.”
Elana Caceres closed with a message to their fans. ‘Your support has meant everything. It has been such a privilege and an honor to share our music with you and our videos and just our friendship.

Boys World was founded in 2019 after each member was discovered on social media, and their name had to be an anagram for ‘the best of yourself’.
The group released their debut single ‘Girlfriends’ in October 2020 and their first EP While You Were Out was released in April 2021.
