The Netflix original series Ginny & Georgia, starring Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howe in the title roles respectively, was greenlit for two more seasons.
When making the announcement on the Instagram page, a black image with “3 & 4” in white was posted alongside a comment praising viewers for its success leading up to renewal for seasons three and four.
“This is because of the fans,” the caption read, along with praying hands, a hand heart, peach and red heart emojis
Along with the news of the two-season renewal, the streaming service also revealed that Sarah Glinski will be taking over as showrunner from Debra J. Fisher, in the wake of some friction between Fisher and show creator Sarah Lampert.
While there’s a four-month gap between the season two premiere and the new pickup, deadline reports that Netflix has decided not to share it with the public until now.
