Attention all Gilmore Girls fans!
One of the show’s staff members has revealed six years after the revival who the father of Rory’s unborn child’s baby is.
In Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, the 30-something Yale grad is still struggling to recover when she drops a pregnancy bombshell on her mother, Lorelai.
The final episode of the Netflix revival ends on a cliffhanger when Rory says, “Mom, I’m pregnant.”
Gilmore Girls wardrobe supervisor Valerie Campbell has weighed in on the hotly debated topic on TikTok, in a video that has been viewed nearly a million times.
In the Netflix revival, Rory Gilmore (pictured with Logan Huntzberger) revealed that she was pregnant, but the episode didn’t explicitly name the baby’s daddy, leaving many fans guessing.
A shocked Lorelai looks at Rory, but no words are spoken before the screen goes black and the credits roll.
Now Valerie Campbell, who was the wardrobe supervisor for A Year In The Life, has taken to TikTok to settle the debate among fans once and for all.
‘So let’s do the math. In the winter, she (Rory) sleeps with Paul, maybe, maybe not, I don’t know, maybe she forgot to, but she definitely forgot to break up with that guy’, Valerie begins the video, which has almost a million visits at time of writing.
‘But she definitely didn’t sleep with him.’
He continues: ‘Spring, she slept with the Wookiee once. And if it was the Wookiee, he would definitely be showing and we never gave him a pregnancy belly, that’s very, very important.
“We never gave him one, we were never ordered to give him one. He is definitely not the Wookiee.
Valerie then turns her attention to Logan Huntzberger, who is one of Rory’s ex-boyfriends and it was revealed in the revival that they had rekindled their romance even though he was engaged.
‘So the obvious choice is, you guessed it, Logan. [Gilmore Girls creator] amy [Sherman-Palladino] she said herself: “Why were people even questioning who the father is?” she said.
Valerie appears here with Liz Torres, who plays Miss Patty on the series. The wardrobe supervisor said the ‘obvious’ answer was Logan.
A Year In The Life premiered in 2016 as a four-episode limited series on Netflix after the CW show ended in 2007. Pictured are Rory and Lorelai Gilmore.

“It’s because it was supposed to be very, very, very, very, very, very obvious.”
The video generated more than 1,500 comments and the topic still seems to be a sore point among Gilmore Girls fans.
If it’s obvious, why is Matt (Czuchry, who plays Logan) saying that Amy told him and he has to keep it a secret? Or is he just to drive us crazy? one person wrote.
‘It wasn’t obvious, and now I can die in peace. This has haunted me for years,” said another.
And while others knew Logan was the father, others were unwilling to accept Valerie’s version of events.
“But I want it to be Jess’s,” wrote a third Gilmore Girls fan, referring to one of Rory’s ex-boyfriends.
‘We know. We just don’t like any of the answers. Especially that one,’ someone else joked.
Most of the original cast returned for the series. But sadly, Edward Herrmann (back center) didn’t after his death in 2014.
Obviously, the issue remains a sore point for Gilmore Girls fans who took to the TikTok comments section to weigh in.
A Year In The Life premiered in 2016 as a four-episode limited series on Netflix.
It takes place almost a decade after the CW series ended in 2007.
Each episode takes place during one season (winter, spring, summer and fall) and the series traces a year in the life of Gilmore Girls.
Alexis Bledel returned as Rory, who is 30 years old and works as a freelance journalist, but the opportunities are beginning to dry up and she seems more lost than ever.
Co-star Lauren Graham also reprized her role as Lorelai, and much of the original cast returned for A Year In The Life.
Sadly, Gilmore patriarch Richard is missing after the actor who played him, Edward Herrmann, died in 2014.
