At least one victim of the Gilgo Beach murders was killed at suspect Rex Heuermann’s Long Island home, police have revealed.
The 59-year-old lived in a “dungeon-like” Massapequa Park with his wife Asa Ellerup and adult daughter and stepson.
On Wednesday, as police searched the house for the sixth day, DailyMail.com spotted a detective with a note listing some of the evidence found. Among the items on the list were a rope kept in a safe, a ripped man’s shirt with a stain in a bag, and handcuff keys in a shelf under a workbench.
Ellerup, 59, was married to Heuermann for two decades before his arrest last week; She filed for divorce in Suffolk County on Wednesday
Police say Heuermann was behind the 2010 deaths of three sex workers who were buried at Giglo Beach. He is the prime suspect in a fourth murder.

Law enforcement sources said CBS News investigators now believe at least one of the murders took place at the suspect’s home, which is just 18 miles from Gilgo Beach.
Attorney Robert Macedonio said the family was blindsided by the shocking murder allegations. “Obviously this has been a shocking time for them and quite a difficult time to understand,” he told the US Sun.
“As with any family, it is extremely distressing and they are totally shocked and taken aback. The family declined to comment further.’
