Friendship bracelets became the new trend for Swifties just months ago Taylor Swift’s hugely successful The Eras Tour.
The craze seems to have been started by fans taking to heart the lyrics of her Midnights song You’re On Your Own, Kid and following her lead when she sang, “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”
And that’s exactly what superfans like Gigi Hadid have been doing since she started her massive tour of stadiums in mid-March.
Since then, Swifties have been making and trading colorful beaded friendship bracelets with each other, then take to social media to brag about their growing collections.
Hadid, 28, is just one of many fans joining the trend, which also includes celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter, Jennifer Lawrence, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman and even Swift herself, according to Billboard.

The top model, the older sister of Bella Hadid, recently attended Swift’s concert on Friday, July 28 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
She was seen singing every lyrics to songs in clips posted on her friend Patrick Ta’s Instagram page.
The two friends were also seen showing off their growing friendship bracelets together in a few photos.
A photo taken during the concert showed Hadid and Ta, a makeup artist, making a heart with their hands together.
They both had huge amounts of colorful bracelets on their arms, especially Hadid, whose collection covered almost all of her right forearm.
They also highlighted their bracelets for a photo of them holding hands as they raised their arms during Friday’s show alongside more than 60,000 other Swifties.
In declaring to E News that she wanted to attend “as many (Swift tour dates) as I can,” the runway queen has had more opportunities than most to add to her collection.
True to her word, the fashionista has attended a few Taylor Swift The Eras Tour shows so far.
The star of the show gave her 269 million Instagram fans and followers a glimpse into her life on the road through stadiums.
Swift took to her TikTok page ahead of Friday’s concert and shared a video showing herself cruising the halls on a golf cart, with some friends along for the ride.
That ride eventually turned into a race of sorts when her dad, Scott Swift, showed up behind their wagon and made his way through the walkways on a Segway.

Playing along with the race theme in the clip, the Look What You Made Me Do star dropped a snippet of rapper Chamillionaire’s song Ridin’ that also features fellow rapper Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
“They see me rolling – They hate – Patrolling and trying to catch me driving dirty,” Chamillionaire can be heard rapping, which has been edited into a shot of Swift’s father trying to catch up with his daughter.
As the next lines of the catchy tune play, the clip shifts to the music icon smiling as she maintains a lead in her cart for her dad.
In the caption, Swift refers to her “dad’s s**t again.”
Best known for playing Ryan Shaver on the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, Tommy Dorfman was another superfan who gobbled up all the music and fun in the audience
The actress shares a series of photos and videos of her time partying on her Instagram page.
Decked out in a white patterned dress, the Atlanta, Georgia native can be seen dancing and singing along with pop superstar, who was on stage at the time, delivering her three-hour set.
At one point, as the lights went down and fans flashed their phones, Dorfman snuggled into Hadid, who then kissed her on the cheek.

More than 60,000 more fans attended the second show at Levi’s Stadium, which has been home to the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers since 2014.

The Lover star’s ongoing tour of the United States, before going abroad, is her second stadium tour.
The Eras Tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, and will conclude on August 17, 2024 in London, England.
Her performances clock in at around three hours, with a set list of 44 songs divided into 10 different acts that conceptually represent all of her albums.
