Gigi Hadid and Gabriella Karefa-Johnson looked like they were both trying to put their recent feuds behind them as they headed to the Vogues Forces of Fashion conference on Friday.
After a busy day of meetings, Gigi, 27, opted for a chic business ensemble built around a stylish brown overcoat.
Speaking to the catwalk star in front of the convention goers, Gabriella opted for a gorgeous multi-patterned ensemble that added a pop of color to the proceedings.
Meeting the fashion stars: Gigi Hadid, 27, and Gabriella Karefa-Johnson were both spotted on their way to Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference in NYC on Friday. They were ready for a conversation together on stage
Gigi looked extremely comfortable in her thick cashmere coat, which reached down to her thighs.
She wore it unbuttoned to show off her beige button-up shirt, which had a contrasting white collar and white striped tie.
She stuck to earth tones with a set of dark olive pants and she stayed comfortable in a set of two-tone cream and burgundy loafers.
The runway star wore her long blonde hair in delicate waves pulled into a ponytail, and she blocked out the sun with green-toned chunky black sunglasses.

Gigi and Gabriella were a fitting pair to have a conversation at the conference as the two friends were recently brought together as subjects of rapper Kanye West’s wrath.
The rapper and supermodel were engaged in a battle of words last week after she jumped to the defense of Gabriella, who had accused West of “bullying” online.
In the latest exchange, West lashed out when he shared a screenshot of a comment made by Gigi on Instagram claiming the rapper didn’t treat “V” like a friend.
While no further context was given, it appeared that she referred the late designer Virgil Abloh after West was criticized for referencing the designer in his tirades.

Not a fan: Kanye first lashed out at Gabriella after criticizing the White Lives Matter shirts from his Paris Fashion Week show. She called them “deeply offensive, violent and dangerous”
Gigi wrote: ‘Finally… Thank you! Even people who knew him a percentage of the time knew that kanye didn’t treat V like a friend ++ V LOVED GKJ…. He’s watching. [sic]’
In response, Kanye shared in capital letters: “I won’t be run over by Hollywood again. Gigi you a privileged Karen.
“You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You are a zombie. You speak here, but did not speak when my child was abducted on her birthday. [sic]’
West caused a stir with his Yeezy show for Paris Fashion Week, which saw models stepping down the catwalk in “White Lives Matter” shirts, which was seen as a rejection of the Black Lives Matter movement.
His spokesperson Jason Lee quit in protest at the provocative show, writing on Instagram that West “strengthens black people gaslight and white supremacy.”
“Very humbled and grateful to Ye for the opportunity to work with him, but that part of our relationship has come to an end,” he later wrote on his Instagram Story.
Shooting Back: West later attacked Gigi after she said he wasn’t a real friend of Virgil Abloh, who she claimed loved Gabriella’s work
Ouch: Kanye in turn insulted her: “You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You are a zombie. You speak here, but did not speak when my child was abducted on her birthday [sic]’
Gabriella complained that the T-shirts were “highly offensive, violent and dangerous.”
West reacted disdainfully, ridiculing her outfits online and saying she had no idea about fashion.
But a day later, he insisted that Karefa-Johnson was his “sister” and said they had a two-hour discussion on the issues raised.
Later on Friday, Vogue’s Instagram account posted a short video of Gigi and Gabriella right before their conversation.
Gigi was carrying a microphone and bursting with energy as she introduced her boyfriend.
The two shared the origins of their friendship, revealing that they met at a previous Vogue event early in their careers, which Gabriella believed was at Michael Kors’ house.
“We were little babies in the industry,” she recalls, adding, “We just fell in love.”

During their conversation at the conference, Gigi revealed that her coat was from her own cashmere label Guest in Residence, according to Fashion.
The two chatted about how Gigi had gone from just modeling to being a businesswoman. She added that it was her pregnancy that got her started on her cashmere label.
‘You can’t model forever. I was creative and that’s where I saw my life go,” she said. ‘I was already thinking about cashmere, but I think so [pregnancy] just made me think of how much more I would feel if I had an office job. I can take my daughter there.’
Bella Hadid’s sister also shared that it was important to her not just to put her name on flash-in-the-pan fast fashion collections, but to focus on more sustainable items.
To illustrate that, she noted that her clothing brand gets its fabric from a factory that reseeds.
