Gigi Hadid Cries Over Fame, Shares She’s In Therapy And Says Serena Williams Gave Her Advice

Catwalk queen Gigi Hadid wore every inch of the supermodel as she posed for the March 2023 cover of elle magazine.

The blonde bombshell showed off her toned tummy in a crop top and matching pants as she looked to have lost every pound since welcoming her daughter in 2020. The photographer is the legendary Mario Sorrenti.

Bella Hadid’s 27-year-old sister talked about being a public personality in the interview.

At one point, Hadid, who posed for Self-Portrait last week, broke down in tears when asked about dealing with fame. I’m getting excited thinking about it.

The writer noticed that her eyes filled with tears. ‘What doesn’t the world know about me? I don’t know. I’m getting excited [thinking about it]. I think I’m someone you have to be in front of to experience,” said Hadid, who shares his baby girl, Khai Hadid Malik, with One Direction veteran Zayn Malik.

She has feelings, too: Bella Hadid’s 27-year-old sister talked about being a public personality in the interview. At one point, Hadid broke down in tears when asked about dealing with fame. ‘I’m getting emotional thinking about it’

‘Is not difficult. This is not a complaint. It’s more than in my work, you see a lot of snapshots,” she shared.

She wiped away her tears, the writer noted. ‘Not well. Apparently, she needed to say it. There are a lot of snapshots and very quick moments where, again, not much context is given.’

She posed for Elle to talk about Guest In Residence, a line of cashmere classics she launched last fall. She and she is also beginning a new role as co-host on Netflix’s reality competition show Next In Fashion, along with Tan France, whose second season debuts next month.

She told ELLE associate editor Adrienne Gaffney that she and her younger sister, Bella, have been in therapy. “There are different things that we both probably deal with on different sides, but there will always be something that comes together.”

Serena Williams taught her how to deal with the criticism that comes with being in the spotlight, Gigi said.

‘Serena once told me: “Nothing stays in the press for more than three weeks.” You can feel like your life is ending,” Hadid said.

“I think it’s about not taking yourself so seriously and saying, ‘When I’m on my deathbed, I’m not going to remember that awkward interview from when I was 19.'”

Breaking: The writer noticed her eyes fill with tears ‘What doesn’t the world know about me? I don’t know. I’m getting excited [thinking about it]. I think I’m someone you have to be in front of to experience,’ said Hadid, who shares his baby with One Direction veteran Zayn Malik.

Issues hit newsstands on March 7.

She shared that the Covid lockdown and the birth of her daughter Khai gave her time to inspire Guest In Residence.

“I got pregnant and really started to think about what I wanted after when the world opened up again. I kept coming back to a more stabilized schedule where I’m not in a different country every week.

‘This is very stabilizing. I have an office that I go to. I know everyone here. I don’t have to look a certain way to show up. It’s a different experience for me, and it was the right time because I was ready for it,” she said.

Regarding her Netflix show Next in Fashion with Tan France, she said: ‘Netflix wasn’t easy for me. They really put me through an audition process.

In the spotlight: ‘It’s not difficult. This is not a complaint. It’s more than in my work, you see a lot of snapshots,” she shared. He wiped away his tears, the writer noted. ‘Not well. Bunny babe: Told ELLE associate editor Adrienne Gaffney that she and Bella have been in therapy. “There are different things that we both probably deal with on different sides, but there will always be something that comes together.”

‘I respected that, and it made me feel good when I got the job. I felt like I had earned it in his eyes, and that gave me the confidence to do it. You get a feeling of imposter syndrome and you’re like, Okay, am I getting this show just because I have a big following?

“The fact that they really questioned my intentions to be on the show helped me jump in head first. If they think I can do it, then that gives me more confidence than I might have otherwise.’

She added: ‘People say I’m funny. I don’t know, but I think the more time they give me, the more I can fool around.

And she said that she loves being a mother to her daughter Khai.

“Having a daughter, while it changed my life to make me want to feel more stable, has also made me appreciate the chaos. Being at shows and photo shoots and just being back in town; be surrounded by friends [after] becoming a mother, with everyone also coming out of COVID: I appreciate both sides of this.’

The three-week rule: Serena Williams taught you how to deal with criticism. ‘Serena once told me: “Nothing stays in the press for more than three weeks.” You can feel like your life is ending,” Hadid said.
