Gigi and Bella Hadid’s older sister, Alana, has made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week at the age of 40.
The model walked the runway at the Elene Velez show on Tuesday in a ripped beige corset-style dress, accessorized with lace gloves and white knee-high boots.
She also had white mud on her arms.
Sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the big day, Alana said on Instagram: ‘Thank you @elenavelez for letting me wear your beautiful creation and play in the mud with you last night. I am so honored. What a masterpiece.
“Thank you to your amazing team Cc: @andrewcurwen @joe.van.o (and a special thank you @nadinematar for the perfect BTS and @hoybot I love you).”
Elene Velez commented: “Thank you for bringing this wild night to life.”

Last month, Alana walked in Saks Potts’ Spring 2024 show during Copenhagen Fashion Week, and days before that she walked for Munthe.
She told PEOPLE about her Denmark debut: “I said yes, because it’s something I decided to do in my 40s – just say yes to a lot of things, and it was great.
‘It was phenomenal.’
The co-owner of Hadid Eyewear has big ambitions.
She said: ‘I think I’ve found something else that I’m really passionate about in fashion, and it’s exciting. I would prefer to do it all over the world.’
Her supermodel siblings, Gigi, 28, and Bella, 26, have been extremely supportive of the fashion designer’s transition into modeling.
Alana added, “We are a super supportive family of all the things that everyone does. We’re always doing a million things, and we’re just supporting each other.
“They said, ‘You’re going to kill it.’

Alana walked the catwalk for Scandinavian brand Saks Pott’s spring/summer 2024 show.
The fashion show took place on a rainy beach in the Danish capital on the first day of fashion week.
The daughter of Mohammed Hadid and his ex-wife Mary Butler wore a sheer gold dress and she was also seen in a blue sequin skirt layered over jeans with a cropped caramel leather jacket and slippers.
Alana posted a behind-the-scenes look at her runway debut on Instagram and captioned it: “Center memory made in Denmark with Saks Potts, my first runway! Thank you Barbara Potts and Cathrine Saks, what a way to arrive in Copenhagen, opening for the most amazing brand… in the rain.”

When she’s not modeling in international fashion shows, Alana is a fashion designer, having co-founded La Detresse in 2017.
In addition to Alana, her parents have another daughter, Marielle Hadid, 42.
Alana looked cheerful in her BTS fashion show photos, which included test shots, applying temporary tattoos, and getting dressed and ready for the runway.
Alana’s Copenhagen Fashion Week debut comes about a week after she celebrated her 40th birthday.
She threw a Greek goddess-style party in a lushly landscaped backyard and shared several snaps of the festivities on Instagram.
‘My Greek goddess dreams 40th. I feel so blessed, loved and cherished, surrounded by my friends and family from all over the world,” she captioned the post.
“Special thanks to the dreamer of the dream for me @mariellemama and my amazing friend.”
Alana’s big week comes as her half-sister Bella, 26, returns to work after taking five months off for medical reasons.

Hadid – who has been updating fans on her ongoing health issues – looked refreshed and happy as she filmed herself in the hair and makeup chair.
The new TikTok was posted on the same day the supermodel took to Instagram to share a look at her receiving medical treatment.
