The father of Giants quarterback Tommy Devito appeared to take aim at New York’s play calling during his son’s first NFL start.
Devito was under center for the Giants on Sunday’s trip to the Dallas Cowboys after injuries to both Daniel Jones (knee) and backup Tyrod Taylor (ribs).
But the 25-year-old had a painful introduction to life as an NFL quarterback, with the Giants trailing 28-0 at halftime.
To make matters worse, Devito’s father — who was in the crowd at AT&T Stadium — was caught on camera expressing his frustration.
“That’s your fourth and third play,” Tom Devito seemed to shout during another tough Sunday for the struggling Giants.

DeVito, an undrafted free agent, is in his rookie season. He grew up in Cedar Grove, New Jersey – just ten miles from the Giants’ practice facility and MetLife Stadium – and still lives at home with his parents.
“For me it was a no-brainer,” DeVito told ESPN before Sunday’s game.
‘Everything I need is in the house. The decision was made because this level of football is stressful for a rookie, especially from the quarterback position.
‘A lot is happening, there are a lot of meetings. So everything outside of football is handled by my family.
“I don’t have to worry about laundry, what I’m having for dinner, chicken cutlets and everything that’s waiting for me when I get there.
‘My mother still makes my bed. Everything is arranged for me. Honestly, I don’t even know if I could find a place closer to here than where I live. It takes twelve minutes to get here.”
