The NFL has announced that NFC East rivals New York and Philadelphia will meet on December 25 as it continues to slowly announce games ahead of the release of the full schedule on Thursday.
After the announcement of the Bengals vs. Chiefs for New Year’s Eve – the final week of the season – the league unveiled another celebratory game; with the Giants-Eagles meeting in Week 16 at Lincoln Financial Field.
Big Blue will be hoping for a different result after losing 38-7 in the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs in January, ending a spectacular first season under Brian Daboll.
The league has already announced the Dolphins to Jets on Black Friday, and the full schedule will be released Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
International games expanded in 2023 with two games in Germany – Weeks 9-10 – in addition to three in London, spanning Weeks 4-6. Those dates and matchups were released early Wednesday morning.
