Ghislaine Maxwell’s vegan Thanksgiving in low-security Florida prison will include Tofurky

Ghislaine Maxwell will enjoy a vegan feast at her Florida low-security prison on Thanksgiving.

The disgraced socialite, 60, will spend her first turkey day at FCI Tallahassee after being convicted of helping her billionaire lover, sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein, abuse young girls.

Maxwell’s Thanksgiving meals shouldn’t be too different from what she’s used to, as the lunch menu at FCI Tallahassee shows she’ll be indulging in Tofurky before participating in holiday competitions, such as volleyball, kickball, board games and a three-point shooting competition, according to a spokesman for the prison.

Inmates can also watch holiday movies after their tasty dinner at the federal prison.

Epstein’s ex-lover will soon be joined by reality TV star Julie Chrisley, who was found guilty of a $30 million tax fraud case Monday.

Before breakfast, detainees can choose to have a light snack before their hearty lunch. Morning options include fruit, bran flakes, wholemeal bread, low-fat milk, and between two jellies.

Inmates can choose between vegan tofurky or turkey for their main course. Other options on the menu include cornbread dressing, sweet potato pie, macaroni and cheese, kale, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, fruit and soda.

If there’s room after the Thanksgiving festivities, dinner will consist of a boxed meal of peanut butter and jelly, fruit, whole-wheat bread, and dessert.

FCI Tallahassee—Maxwell’s home until at least July 2037—is surrounded by a maze of 30-foot fences and cameras, but the elegant red-brick building behind the coils of jagged barbed wire looks more like a high school or college campus.

The infamous lady was crying and withdrawn when she first arrived, refusing to eat and bitterly complaining to prison authorities that her clothes didn’t fit.

But four months later, inmate 02879-509 has taken up several fun new hobbies, made friends and come out of her shell, an insider told DailyMail.com.

Insiders say Maxwell used her privileged upbringing to boost her popularity among the 755-strong female population — using her Oxford University education and literary savvy to recommend novels and history books.

In fact, cellmates in Unit B South think the British heiress is so smart that they recently nominated Maxwell to represent them in a checkers game – part of an Olympic-style “Battle of the Units” held annually.

“There’s everything from kickball to hula hoops, but she was selected for the 40 and over checkers,” an insider said.

“You want the best players and she has a reputation for being smart. The winning unit gets a really good meal, chicken wings, pizza, that sort of thing. It’s much better than the usual food.

‘It’s a big problem. No one cares what you participate in as long as you win.”

Inmates at FCI Tallahassee are given a relaxed six-hour workday, leaving time to train or participate in pottery sessions, tournaments, or crochet classes.

Prison sources revealed to DailyMail.com earlier this month that Maxwell works six hours a day in the prison library. She then spends her free time strolling the manicured grounds with a cabal of influential prisoner friends to ensure her protection.

When she’s not working, Maxwell has also become “obsessed” with playing softball — as she prepares to keep herself entertained in Florida jail.

The socialite began playing softball competitively at the facility to represent her prison wing.

Inmates have now dubbed the child sex trafficker “Dottie,” after the character in the baseball movie A League of Their Own.

A prison source told the Mirror: ‘Ghislaine is very popular with the girls. She is very social.

“Immediately she started mingling with others participating in all sorts of activities. One day she almost won musical chairs and reached the final two.

“But it’s her love of softball that she enjoys the most. If there is a game, Ghislaine wants to play. When she went on the field, they called her Dottie. It stuck.’

Though she once attended the most lavish events and associated with Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, she is now a key player on her B South unit’s softball team, defeating bitter rivals A South unit and another wing.
