Getafe have asked the match referee during the 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid to record the alleged shocking insult that Jude Bellingham may have directed at Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood left on loan from Manchester United last summer after reaching an agreement with the club that it was best for him to resume his career elsewhere after being arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of a number of charges, including attempted rape.
The Public Prosecution Service subsequently dropped the charges in February 2023, but Greenwood was loaned out to Getafe and he has made a positive start in Spain.
During Thursday’s clash, the two English players collided and, according to some viewers, this resulted in unsavory scenes.
After completing a blistering tackle on the 22-year-old, the camera turned to Bellingham, who some fans believed muttered the word ‘rapist’ in the direction of the Getafe striker.

The club has asked referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea to include the words in his report, and to notify the LaLiga delegate present at the match to view footage of the alleged insult, according to Cadena SER.
The club do not appear to be planning to file a complaint against Bellingham, but are keen to review the footage after a clip of the incident went viral on social media.
The inclusion of the incident in the match report could still subject Bellingham to disciplinary proceedings from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), but it would likely be difficult to prove that the former Borussia Dortmund star made the statement without accompanying audio.
Bellingham representatives have been contacted for comment.

Greenwood was unable to get into the match despite playing the full 90 minutes
“If we win the next two games we will have six more points and that will be good,” Ancelotti said at a press conference.
‘Let’s hope we can count on Rudiger (for Sunday’s derby), I think he can recover. We have two days to try to get him back, it’s a big blow to his thigh.’
Greenwood ultimately played the full 90 minutes against Madrid, but was unable to influence the result as Joselu’s heroics sealed the victory.
The Man United loanee hit the post just after halftime after a shot from outside the penalty area.
Madrid dominated from the start and Joselu scored a towering header from Dani Carvajal’s cross in the first quarter of the match to put the visitors ahead.
He had a great chance to extend Real’s lead in the 38th minute, but his shot was saved with one hand by goalkeeper David Soria.
Joselu eventually scored a brace to seal a crucial win for Real Madrid and their title hopes
Real manager Carlo Ancelotti was already missing regular players, including goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and defenders David Alaba and Eder Militao, but Real manager Carlo Ancelotti suffered another setback when central defender Antonio Rudiger did not return after the break due to a leg injury.
Joselu extended Real’s lead moments after the break, scoring a low goal, assisted by a fine pass from Vinicius Jr.
He could have completed his hat-trick when he broke through after a quick counter-attack, but tried to set up Vinicius who fired the ball straight at Soria from close range.
Soria made excellent saves from Federico Valverde and Vinicius and Getafe could have reduced the deficit after Borja Mayoral took advantage of an error, but Real goalkeeper Andriy Lunin made a brilliant save to deflect his point-blank strike off the post.
