Getafe fear they will be ruled out of a move to sign Mason Greenwood permanently from Manchester United.
When signing Greenwood in the summer, the Spanish side negotiated a season-long loan with a break clause in January, which would carry a £215,000 fine if he returns to United next month. Getafe would also receive 20 percent of the transfer fee if United were to sell Greenwood to another club.
However, the move to Madrid-based Getafe has gone so well that the club is investigating how they can keep him beyond this season.
