Gervonta Davis domestic violence case DROPPED after mother of his child retracted allegations

Gervonta Davis domestic violence case CASES five months after his child’s mother retracted her allegations – but the boxer will take an anger management course

According to TMZ, the allegations of domestic violence against boxer Gervonta Davis have been officially dropped.

Five months ago, Vanessa Posso, the mother of Davis’s daughter, publicly retracted her allegations in a statement on Instagram.

TMZ quoted prosecutors say Davis will take an anger management course and a parenting class.

Davis was arrested in Florida in December on domestic violence charges after he allegedly struck a woman with a “closed hand-like slap” and left her with an abrasion on her lip, according to an incident report from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

An 911 recording of the alleged victim was released by TMZ: “He’s going to kill me!… I need help, please! I’m trying to go home. I have my baby in the car and he attacked me in front of the boy. And now he’s busting my tires!’

Later in December, Posso said on Instagram that Davis was not guilty of domestic violence.

“The past few days have been hurtful and extremely exhausting for all parties involved,” she wrote. “I pride myself on being extremely private; this situation was the last thing I wanted to make public.

“The state of our relationship is in a fragile space and Gervonta and I were both guilty of the argument,” she continued.

“As emotions were running high, I unnecessarily called the police in a violent moment while I was in a panic. Gervonta did not harm me or our daughter.

“Today we have sought the help we need to get on with our lives. I am confident that we will succeed within our co-parenting dynamic with the guidance provided to us.”

Davis broke his silence in an Instagram post that he later deleted to deny the accusation.

“I NEVER HAVE MY HANDS ON MY CHILD MOTHER NOR MY F***ING DAUGHTER ARE YOU F****** CRAZY!!” Davis wrote. “I AM NOT A MONSTER.”

Davis added a photo of a young girl, believed to be his daughter, watching the children’s movie Frozen.

“I’ve been quiet for too long. I don’t have a media team, PR, good lawyer… spokesperson none of that… that’s the only reason I’m doing this now! Just to clear my name!’
