Gerard Butler goes casual in a green shirt as he runs errands with a pal in New York City

Gerard Butler was spotted Friday with a friend in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.

The 52-year-old actor wore a green button-down shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers as he ran some errands in town.

Butler’s friend looked comfortable in a white T-shirt, light blue jeans, paired with white sneakers and a red hat, accompanying Butler.

While doing his shopping, Butler was noticed by a few fans and kindly took some selfies with them before stopping a cab.

His latest film Last Seen Alive is currently the number 1 movie on Netflix.

The film was released on the streaming platform after a limited theatrical release in June 2022, overtaking Blonde for first place.

This good news comes after the Scottish actor lost his boyfriend Darius Danesha few months ago in August.

Butler paid tribute to his friend Darius, who died in a Minnesota hotel room booked by Gerard’s girlfriend Morgan Brown.

The Hollywood star shared a photo of his late boyfriend and himself on Thursday as they enjoy a concert together.

Butler said his “heart hurts very much,” but he vowed to celebrate his life in the future.

“He was an incredible talent, a singer whose voice touched your soul and an actor with great presence,” he added. “But most importantly, he had the heart of a lion. It was bigger and brighter than the sun and an energy so contagious it could light up a room in seconds.”

Gerard currently has several films in pre-production, including a sequel to his cult action film Den Of Thieves.
