Willis has until Friday to respond to the charges in court.

β€œThe Wade v. Wade hearing, scheduled for January 31, 2024, has been removed by consent of the parties, a temporary consent order has been entered by Judge Thompson,” said Thomas Davis, staff attorney for Judge Henry Thompson in Cobb County.

Judge Thompson’s order, obtained by CNNrevealed that Wade and his wife have entered into a “temporary agreement addressing all issues,” and both agreed that the terms of the agreement will not be filed with the court.

Wade’s divorce from 49-year-old Joycelyn had taken a bitter turn, with her team questioning him about drug and alcohol use.

In August 2023, he was issued a civil contempt order for failing to comply with a judge’s order, issued in May, to turn over discovery to Joycelyn’s attorneys.

The lawyers argued that he was “unwilling to cooperate and will not comply unless compelled to do so by court order.”

She also accused him of failing to disclose payments of more than $500,000 for working on the Trump case.

Their messy divorce was dragged into the spotlight on January 8 when one of Trump’s co-defendants, Mike Roman, claimed that Wade and Willis were dating.

When Willis hired Wade, he described him as an old friend.

Roman, who used the relationship to try to get his case dismissed, said in his complaint: “The district attorney has chosen to name her romantic partner, who at all times relevant to this prosecution has been a married man.”

Roman’s lawyers claimed β€” without evidence β€” that Wade and Willis were living together, and that he had spent Trump lawsuit money to take her on trips to Napa Valley, Florida and the Caribbean.

Neither Willis nor Wade have commented on the allegations.
