She looked sensational in her finished look, which she completed with a small silver handbag and matching strappy heels.

Elsewhere in London, Michelle Visage looked fabulous in a striped bandeau dress and sky-high heels as she co-hosted Barefoot Wine’s Ultimate Eurovision finals viewing party.

The American singer, 54, styled her long dark hair in glamorous curls with a gray section in the front while waving a Union Jack flag.

She was joined by The Vivienne at the Shoreditch event, who wore a dazzling gold catsuit with a satin train.

The Princess of Wales opened the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in spectacular fashion, with a touching piano tribute to Ukraine – but the contest ended in heartbreak for British contestant Mae Muller, who finished second.

Kate played the piano alongside last year’s Ukrainian winners, the Kalush Orchestra, in a stunning opening sequence for the grand finale, which was screened in front of an estimated global audience of 160 million.

Each of the 26 acts battled to get the coveted glass microphone trophy, but it was Sweden that stormed to victory, with their act Loreen making history as the first woman to win the competition twice.

Ukraine scored an impressive 243 points after shooting up in the standings thanks to the public vote.

But Britain’s Mae Muller looked sad when the scores were read out for her performance and she finished the evening with just 24 points despite being among the top ten favourites.

Liverpool are hosting the match on behalf of war-torn Ukraine, who won it last year, and fans in the UK have shown their support for both countries.

Eurovision fans went crazy for presenters Graham Norton Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian rock star Julia Sanina.

Hannah Waddingham was forced to calm the jeering crowds in Liverpool and remind them that everyone was ‘friends’ when it was revealed that the British entry only got a handful of points in the public vote.

After the votes of the individual country jury, Sweden came out on top with 277 points, and they topped the leaderboard again when the public vote came through.
