Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou’s new series Baby Steps returns Thursday, with the engaged couple sharing more of their parenting journey with son Brody.

In this series, the former TOWIE stars take viewers on a deeper, more revealing journey as Georgia, 31, and Tommy, 30, receive the heartbreaking news that they have experienced a miscarriage.

In the first episode, Georgia faces complications early in her pregnancy and schedules an emergency scan.

Meanwhile, Brody is growing up fast and will start nursery in September, prompting Georgia and Tommy to start potty training and take him to his first dental checkup.

The video begins as Georgia explains, “We’ve arrived at the dentist! I’m a little scared because I don’t know how he’ll react.’

As they walk in, Brody tries to back off, as Georgia jokes, “He’s trying to escape!”

He then walks into the room and when he sees what’s there, he tries to run back out with Tommy holding his hand tightly.

He then reassures him when he picks him up: “No, you’re not getting an injection, you’re not at the doctor!”

Georgia then adds a piece on camera, “I’m really glad Tommy isn’t working today because this is a two person job!”

Elsewhere in the new series, as Brody approaches his “terrible twos,” Georgia finds himself more clingy than ever, while Tommy’s relationship with him dwindles as he struggles to balance work and personal life.

Now that things are just going well for Tommy, can he make time to be there for Brody more?

Elsewhere, wedding preparations are in full swing as Georgia and Tommy have set a date for next year, but can they handle the demands of it all?

Last month, the couple gave fans an update after revealing the devastating news that they had suffered a miscarriage.

Georgia took to her Instagram with a heartfelt post as she prepped for surgery.

The heartbroken star revealed that the couple were made aware of their loss during their 12-week scan.

Giving fans an update, Tommy explained that he was “so proud” of Georgia, who was on the mend following surgery.

He wrote: & that’s how life changes it’s been a rough few days for my family but as always we keep it moving Georgia is on the mend and it’s mine and Brody’s mission to get her back on to build..

“We were documenting the pregnancy for our show and found out the bad news during filming, and as a family we’ve always said to keep it realistic no matter what, so we’re going to finish the show and hopefully help out a bit.” people on the way! (sic)

He added: ‘I am so proud of Georgia, thank you for the messages, we really appreciate it’

Meanwhile, Georgia shared a series of quotes on her Instagram Stories after revealing the heartbreaking news.

One of them read: ‘What failed was only to protect your energy and prepare for what will succeed. Something greater is manifesting for you’
