George St, Sydney: Dramatic NSW Police Chase from Dymocks Building to Town Hall Station

A group of youths are dramatically handcuffed in the heart of Sydney’s CBD after leading police on a car chase across the city.

Officers swarmed to the Dymocks building on George Street around 2.20pm Tuesday after receiving reports that a group of young people had threatened a customer with a knife.

Police pursued the group after they fled the scene, heading south on George Street.

Officers later pulled up and handcuffed six people – four men and two women – at around 2:50 p.m. at City Hall station.

“This is not a standard shoplifting situation,” an officer told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.

A group of youths have been arrested at Town Hall station in Sydney’s CBD after a customer was allegedly threatened at a shop on George St.
