George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney once looked in love as they celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on Tuesday.

The Ocean’s Eleven star, 61, looked smart in a dark suit, while his famous lawyer wife, 44, showed off her legs in a stylish pleated zebra skirt and stiletto boots.

The couple, who married in 2014, reportedly attended a correspondent dinner with journalists Lesley Stahl and Gayle King on their special night.

The stately Amal completed her outfit with a neat black turtleneck sweater and matched her skirt with a zebra clutch.

The glamorous human rights lawyer wore her voluminous chocolate locks over her shoulders and back.

As for glamour, the Lebanese-British beauty opted for black eyeliner and a red lipstick on her pout.

Ever the gentleman, the Hollywood heartthrob held his wife’s hand and placed another, stabilizing hand on her back as he helped her navigate the streets in her high heels.

The outing comes after George gushed about his “magic wife” Amal when they attended the History Talks event together on Saturday.

Speak with Entertainment tonight about their relationship, George said there is “no downside” when it comes to being married to Amal.

He said, ‘Eight years! And they said it wouldn’t last. Everything about my wife is kind of magical, as I think everyone has come to realize when they see her and hear and hear what she stands for. There’s just no downside to her!’

The Gravity star was also asked about the “moral code” he and his wife hope to instill in their five-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.

He said: ‘I think everyone wants to teach their children the same thing. That is paying attention to other people. In my family, the rules were always “Challenge those with power, defend those of less power.” And if you can do that, you’ve had a good life.’

George and Amal were introduced in 2013 by mutual friends.

The actor explained during a previous appearance on David Letterman’s Netflix show, My next guest needs no introduction, about the day he first met his future wife. ‘It’s the wildest thing there is. A mutual friend of ours said, “I’m coming over and can I bring my boyfriend?”

‘And I was like, ‘Sure.’ I got a call from my agent who called me and said, “I met a woman who comes to your house who you are going to marry,” the actor added.

Sparks flew immediately when paths crossed. A year later, George got down on one knee and proposed to him.

Reflecting on the special night, the star shared: The Hollywood Reporter that Amal was completely surprised and that it took her a while to respond.

‘She just kept staring at the ring and said, ‘Oh, my God.’ It was 20 minutes of me on my knee, waiting for her to say yes, because she was so shocked.’

They received their marriage license in London on August 7, 2014 and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Venice in 2014. After the wedding, they had a final civil ceremony on September 29 at Ca’Farsetti, Venice’s city hall.

The couple welcomed their twins Ella and Alexander in June 2017.
