George – who was in New York this week – led a star-studded ensemble cast that also featured Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon.

“We now have a really good script for another Ocean's, so we could do another one. It's actually a great script,” he said Uproxx.

When asked if the new film would be titled Ocean's Fourteen, Clooney replied: “Well… I don't want to call it that… I mean, the idea is a bit like 'Going in Style.'

The Ocean's franchise is already expanding with a prequel starring Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Danny Ocean's parents – a move approved by Clooney.

'Yes! Margot Robbie is my mother? “I've always thought that,” he told the newspaper.

'Ryan Gosling is my father. When you think about it, it makes sense. Really.'

Producer Josey McNamara previously insisted that Margot and Ryan will “do well” for the franchise – which grew out of the 1960 Rat Pack film Ocean's 11 – and expressed his excitement about the duo sharing a screen again.

He told Game radar: 'They are great together. The more projects we can get them to do even out there would be great.

“I can't really say much, but I think we're just trying to do well with the franchise. I'm glad people can experience it when it's finished.'

The prequel to The Ocean has been in development since last year.

Director Jay Roach previously confirmed that it will be set in Monte Carlo in 1962, with the world-famous Monaco Grand Prix as the backdrop.

Fans have long wondered about the possibility of Ocean's Fourteen following the success of Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen.

And at the end of last year, The sun reported that both Pitt – who famously plays Rusty Ryan – and Clooney and Damon had finally signed on.

“Rumors of a movie starring George, Brad and Matt have been swirling for years, but the timing wasn't right and their jam-packed schedules meant it just wasn't possible,” a source explained to the outlet in September.

'Finally the right team for the job has come together in an attempt to make it a huge success, and the main stars thought it would be fun to revisit.'

The insider continued: 'The franchise is hugely popular and the brilliant storyline was an opportunity too good to miss.'

Ocean's 11 kicked off the franchise and is a reboot of the 1960 film of the same name.

It follows protagonist Danny Ocean (Clooney), a career thief who recruits ten accomplices to help him rob three Las Vegas casinos at the same time, according to IMDB.
