George Clooney cut a comfortable figure on Monday when he appeared on screen in a new action comedy commercial for Nespresso.
The 61-year-old actor, who has reportedly earned £31million as an ambassador for the brand, has reunited with Jean Dujardin for the ad – eight years after their first on-screen meeting.
He put on blue striped pajamas under a bathrobe, wore slippers on his feet and sipped a cup of coffee.

George and Jean first appeared on screen together in 2014’s The Monuments Men, a film about the scale of Hitler’s looting.
The dynamic duo is also joined by Jean’s movie friend Camille Cottin who is making her Nespresso debut.
Jean wrapped in navy blue pajamas, while Camille impresses in a patterned white robe as the trio sat on the couch with their coffee during the commercial shoot.
The new campaign, which can be seen in more than 20 European countries from November 15, is an evolution of the original ad from 2014.

This time we see George offer to make Jean a coffee, so he quickly realizes he only has one capsule left.
With impeccable comedic timing all around, George mischievously pulls the rug from under Jean to get hold of the last capsule before it flies out the window onto Camille’s balcony.
The duo must join forces to recover the capsule, with Jean lowering George down the side of the building in a wicker chair to Camille’s apartment.

In a plot twist, the tables turn as Camille has to retrieve her freshly brewed Nespresso coffee, brutally stolen by George.
George Clooney says of the new film: ‘We had a great time shooting this sequel – being reunited with Jean is always a pleasure, but this time the brilliant Camille brings her touch of sophistication to the set, made for the perfect dynamics. .
