George Clooney's wife Amal lit up the room on Monday night as they made a sensation at the premiere of his new film The Boys In The Boat.

The 62-year-old Hollywood icon and the 45-year-old human rights lawyer put on a loving show as they led a bevy of stars at the screening in Los Angeles.

Amal looked as glamorous as ever, practically glowing on the red carpet in her canary yellow dress.

The biographical sports drama is based on the 2013 non-fiction book The Boys In The Boat: Nine Americans And Their Epic Quest For Gold At The 1936 Olympics by Daniel James Brown.

America was represented by the University of Washington rowing team at the Berlin Olympics, hosted by Nazi Germany.
