The friendly couples were spotted on a double date in Venice, Italy, where they enjoyed a romantic nighttime boat ride through the canals.

Joel, 50, who recently starred in The Boys in the Boat, directed by George, 63, looked in high spirits as he laughed with his friends.

The Australian handsome man, like his American counterpart, wore only black clothing. Joel wore a white T-shirt under his jacket and a hat to stay warm.
