Geordie Shore ‘AXES Two Legendary Stars Of Final Series Due To Past Behavior’
Geordie Shore has reportedly removed legendary show stars Scotty T and Marty McKenna from the final series.
The MTV reality series was said to have been phased out last month after 12 years due to plummeting ratings.
However, the show returns for one last hurrah, which is currently being filmed, but Marty and Scotty have not been invited to join due to their previous behavior.
Show bosses are said to have been less than impressed with Marty’s behavior when he appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating last year, which is made by the same company as Geordie Shore.
While the producers feel that Scotty T, whose real name is Scott Timlin, is too “wild child” and will no longer fit in with the show’s new “family vibe”, in which much of the cast now has children.

said a source Sun: ‘Marty was not asked because he misbehaved while filming Celebs Go Dating last year, which is made by the same production company that makes Geordie Shore.
“The bosses weren’t impressed by his antics, so they decided not to invite him after the meeting.”
While Scotty was invited back to the last reunion show, he won’t be a part of the MTV show’s apparent final swan song, as he’s too much of a “wild party boy” for the producers.
The source added of the star: “That doesn’t really fit with the new direction of the show, which will have a more family-friendly, grown-up vibe, as many of the cast have children now.”
The final series is said to see the cast head off on a group vacation with their kids and no longer focus on the wild nights and drunken antics of the “wacky days of yore.”
MailOnline has contacted MTV representatives for comment.
Last month it was reported that the reality show on MTV, which followed the lives of party stars like Vicky Pattison and charlotte crosby in Newcastle – has been withdrawn amid plummeting ratings, Sun claims.
The series started in 2011 and has produced a host of celebrities and influencers including Marnie Simpson, Holly Hagan, and Sophie Kasaei.

A source told the sacking publication: ‘MTV bosses have decided the time has come to call it a day at Geordie Shore.
The already commissioned series, which is the show’s 24th, will continue with filming beginning this weekend with the reunion continuing as planned later this summer.
“But once they’ve been filmed, MTV has decided to put the series on hiatus and won’t be commissioning any more. Think of it as resting the format instead of canceling it properly.’
The insider added that while it has been one of the most successful races of all time, it hasn’t been the same for a few years, so the bosses thought the timing was right.
The source also claimed that the show’s current stars have yet to be told the news of the layoff and that they expect a “mixed reaction” to the latest.
The publication reports that while at the height of its success more than a million people watched each episode, it is now said to have around 100,000 viewers.

An official MTV spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Geordie Shore has not been canceled and continues to be one of MTV’s biggest shows. We can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store for next season.’
The 24th series will go ahead and so will a second reunion series this summer.
Last April, MTV announced that it was producing a first Geordie Shore reunion series that would air in September 2022.
The OG cast members, including Charlotte, Holly and Sophie, have returned to the screens together, 11 years after the reality show first aired in 2011.
