In Genshin effect“S”Monumental study‘world quest, released in patch 3.6, you need to find four Lost Monument Fragments using a note. It can be quite difficult to decipher their locations, and it only gets harder when you find out that every fragment is invisible. Read on to find out where each of the Lost Monument Fragments is located and how to get them.
World quest starting location ‘Monumental Study’
To start “Monumental study”, you must complete the following world missions in the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” questline.
- “Asipattravana Itihasa”
- “Awakening’s Real Sound”
Once you’ve completed both, head to Sosi – directly below the “R” in the Temir Mountains on the map – and interact with her to start the quest.
Locations of lost monument fragments
After you finish researching the Fatui camps, you reach the second half of the world quest ‘Monumental Study’. In this part of the quest you have to search for Lost Monument Fragments which can be quite difficult as they are invisible! The only way to recognize them is to use the “Sorush” gadget. As Sorush, touch the fragments to collect them and complete the quest.
Check out the sections below to better understand where each Lost Monument Fragment is located.
Lost Monument Fragment 1 Location
The first Lost Monument Fragment has been found by the huge tree where you had to play the Kory Drums in the world quest “Awakening’s Real Sound”. Switch to Sorush and fly under the green symbol on the tree to find the first fragment.
Lost Monument Fragment 2 Location
The second Lost Monument Fragment can be found at the top of the cave entrance on the left side of the Asipattravana swamp. For a more accurate location, go to the location marked with a star in the image above.
Lost Monument Fragment 3 Location
The third Lost Monument Fragment can be found at the highest point in Tunigi Hollow. This fragment requires you to be on the tallest cliff overlooking Tunigi Hollow, otherwise Sorush will be out of your character’s reach. The easiest way to get to the top of the cliff is to complete the challenge on the west side of the cliff. This challenge creates platforms and four-bladed sigils that allow you to fly to the top of the cliff.
The fourth Lost Monument Fragment can be found next to the teleport waypoint south of Vourukasha Oasis. Travel to the waypoint and switch to Sorush to find the fragment for the green bow.
Now that you’ve found all the Lost Monument Fragments, you’ll unlock the Amrita Pool and the Somalata Inland Sea domain, which can be found near the last fragment.
