‘Generation Bellingham!’: Spanish papers hail Real Madrid star Jude for ‘rejuvenating’ the team after the England midfielder scored AGAIN with brace in 4-0 thrashing of Osasuna

  • Jude Bellingham scored for a third consecutive match in Madrid’s 4-0 win over Osasuna.
  • Spanish media have credited the England star for “rejuvenating” Madrid this season.

Jude Bellingham has been hailed by Spanish newspapers for “rejuvenating” Real Madrid after his influential performance which helped Los Blancos score a double in their 4-0 win over Osasuna.

The 20-year-old is enjoying a sensational start to life in the Spanish capital after scoring five goals in his last six matches under Carlo Ancelotti – with a total of ten goals since his £113 million move from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

His incredible form has only seen him fail to score in one of the ten games he has started in all competitions – and he continued that momentum as Madrid secured a thumping victory over Osasuna.

Bellingham opened the scoring in the ninth minute to put the team back on their feet before doubling their lead just after half-time, breaking Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most goals in his first ten games.

Madrid then added two more goals through Vinicius Jr and Joselu, but most of the media praise came for Bellingham after the match as AS hailed him for “rejuvenating” the team.

Jude Bellingham has been praised by the Spanish media after scoring for Real Madrid.

AS praised him for “rejuvenating” a young Los Blancos side with a brace in their 4-0 win over Osasuna.

Their headline read: “Bellingham Generation! as they praised his impact for lifting up a young team.

“The Englishman is leading the rejuvenation (of Real Madrid) with six other (players) under 25,” he continues.

The Spanish media praised Bellingham fondly after his rapid start to life at the Bernabeu, previously singing his praises after scoring on his debut against Athletic Bilbao in August.

They nicknamed him ‘the boss’ and compared him to a ‘cathedral’ after he confidently scored Madrid’s second goal – and since then he has gone from strength to strength and looks at home in Madrid.

The Spanish press fell in love with Bellingham after his sensational debut in Madrid

Bellingham’s maturity in midfield has earned him widespread praise, with manager Ancelotti admitting he was surprised by how quickly he adapted to life in Madrid.

“What’s surprising is that he’s only 20 years old,” the Italian said after scoring against Napoli in the Champions League last week.

“He looks like he’s 30 years old with his character, his personality. He is always focused, he knows what he has to do. It’s strange for a player who is only 20 years old. And then the quality he has, the physical strength.

“It’s obviously a bit surprising, it surprises everyone.”

There have even been comparisons between Bellingham and Zinedine Zidane – the Madrid club legend who scored 49 times in 230 appearances in the famous white jersey.

The player, however, dismissed them after the Napoli match, saying: “It’s a bit too much!” It was a nice goal.

“From what I saw on YouTube and in documentaries, its quality was a little higher than mine, if not much higher. I’m just trying to contribute in Jude’s way.
