Kate Mansi is getting ready to walk down the aisle… just after she finishes this snack.
The 36-year-old General Hospital star hilariously announced her engagement to 40-year-old Matt McInnis on Friday with a photo of herself showing off her massive diamond ring while biting into a burrito.
“LGM(atty),” she wrote on her Instagram Story alongside the photo.
After media picked up on the photo and announcement and reported that the acronym stood for “let’s get married,” Mansi posted on Instagram to set the record straight.
“I never expected this to be the official photo of our announcement but here we are,” she captioned the post photo. ‘(And LGM = Let’s Go Mets. But… semantics)’

McInnis also shared an engagement photo from the mountains after proposing just before Independence Day.
“Apparently today is a holiday but I think July 3rd would have been even better,” the Jessica Jones producer captioned his after.
Mansi previously told Soap Opera Digest that her plans for the holiday weekend before McInnis asked the question.
“I’m going to a hut to enjoy nature with my best friends,” Mansi said.
The couple was greeted with joy by friends and loved ones, including Mansi’s General Hospital colleagues Kirsten Storms, Kristina Wagner and Kristen Vaganos.
“Awesome Kate!! Congratulations on your new chapter. Big hugs,” Wagner wrote.
“I couldn’t love you guys anymore,” Vaganos wrote.
“I am SO happy for you! Sending you all the love!” wrote Days of Our Lives star Nadia Bjorlin. “Congratulations!”
“You are adorable, I am so happy for you,” actress Courtney Hope wrote.
Mansi previously told Soap Opera Digest about her plans for the long weekend: “I’m going to a cabin to spend some much needed time in nature with my best friends.”
