Former TOWIE star Gemma Collins has criticized her home county of Essex, despite the region making her famous.
The 42-year-old TV star has called the area “toxic” and said he is considering a move to leafy Surrey like his friend Sam Faiers, 32.
Gemma starred in the ITV2 reality show from 2011 to 2019, but is now looking forward to a fresh start.
speaking to Mirror she said: I am totally over Essex. it is toxic
‘I really like Surrey, Sam Faiers lives there. I love Wales and would consider living there.

Sam has seen a meteoric rise to fame after first appearing in The Only Way Is Essex over ten years ago and is said to have a net worth of over £10 million.
A source exclusively told MailOnline: ‘Sam and Paul have been searching for the perfect family home for some time and although they plan to fully renovate the property, their new home is perfect for a growing family.

It comes after she sparked fears that she split from fiance Rami Hawash after sharing a series of cryptic Valentine’s Day posts.
Gemma took to Instagram over the holidays to share a slew of ‘loving yourself’ posts.
However, Rami, 48, was absent from the empowering posts which led one fan to ask, “Where’s Rami?”
Gemma shared a snap of herself looking stunning on vacation in front of a pool, writing, “I love myself” at the top.
She also posted a video of herself enjoying a glass of champagne, writing that it was important to love yourself above others.
She wrote: ‘THE MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP YOU WILL HAVE is WITH YOURSELF. LOVE YOURSELF.
‘HAPPY VALENTINES and remember to be your own greatest love of all… For anyone feeling down today, don’t worry, you’ve got this.

She then referenced the hit song Flowers by Miley Cyrus, which is about not needing a man and doing things for yourself.
Gemma added: ‘But a little advice, don’t listen to Miley today! About buying your own flowers, let’s be fair, it’s better when someone else buys them for you’.
She also shared a video with her mom, saying, “Everyone hug each other today.”
It comes after Gemma said she’s “having sex four times a day” in an attempt to get pregnant by Rami.
The reality star has been very open about her desire to become a mom, saying she feels like “total dynamite” in the bedroom right now.
Gemma loves being a stepmom to Tristan, three, Rami’s son from another relationship and believes it’s “now or never” for her and Rami to have their own baby.

A close friend of Gemma told her Near: “She always thought she would have had a baby by now.
“She loves being Tristan’s stepmom and absolutely adores him, but she would also love to have one of her own.” It has always been her dream.
The friend added that Gemma began to lose a little weight and adopted a healthier lifestyle to prepare her body.
They added: ‘She’s never lacked for confidence in the bedroom, but says she feels like total dynamite right now. He joked that he has sex four times a day and his friends believe him: lately he seems to be having the time of his life!’
Gemma and Rami first met in 2011 and got engaged in 2013 when he proposed to her by hiding a diamond ring in Christmas pudding.
They separated in 2014, and Gemma was in an on-and-off relationship with James Argent. The couple broke up for good in 2020. She and Rami reunited in April 2021.
