Gemma Collins has candidly revealed that she often talks to her cousins about safe sex.
The former TOWIE star, 41, said she has explained to them the importance of using protection and tries to act like their ‘cool aunt’ when she gives advice.
Her eldest nephew is called Kane – about whom she rarely posts and the age is unknown. While her other cousin Hayden, 14, the son of her brother Russell, is often on her social media and can be seen on her reality show Diva Forever.

She said on The Gemma Collins Podcast, “There’s still such a taboo around the word sex. Sex is and can be great.
“We should all feel much more comfortable talking about it because we need to practice safe sex. People still feel that if you’re of the age where you can have consensual sex, you should be comfortable with yourself.
“You don’t have to hide it. People say “sex sells,” which it is, but as long as it’s practiced in a safe way, you’re all good. You must be set free. You can be as open as you want when it comes to your sex life, and you don’t have to feel guilty about it.

“I think all young people today always find it uncomfortable to have that sex conversation with your mother. I have two younger nephews and I am very open with them.
“I always tell my oldest nephew, ‘Make sure you wear a condom.’ I know it’s part of life and since I’m like their cool aunt, they’re laughing and probably thinking, “Shut up, Gemma.”
“But we should all practice safe sex. I also think it’s important to have faith in yourself and your body. It does not matter. Just enjoy it and embrace yourself.”
It comes after Gemma flew to the Austrian Alps on Wednesday to film for a new show alongside Gareth Malone and Melvin Odoom.

The blonde beauty stood out from the crowd when she posed for a photo in front of a wooden chalet in the snow in a bright pink quilted jacket on Wednesday.
She wore matching pink snow boots and hid her eyes from the glare of the sun behind oversized sunglasses.
The reality star, who recently cut her blonde locks into a chic bob, wore extensions styled into neat waves and French braided.
Gemma took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that her hair was still short, but she had longer locks to shoot.

Gemma explained to her followers, “My hair is still short guys. Just wear clip-ins to film.
“We just braided the top part and cut the hair in so don’t worry guys, I still have my short hair. It’s growing thick and fast and I’m ready for the slopes.”
She wore a full face of glamorous makeup, complete with black eyeliner and smoky pink eyeshadow.
She announced, “Good morning everyone. I’m on the slopes and it’s absolutely beautiful here. I’m just so excited – I hope you all like my coat, it’s pink!’

Gemma then turned the camera on her co-stars for the project, saying, “We’re in the Austrian Alps and I’m with the wonderful Melvin.”
She then swerved through the breathtaking landscape, filming Gareth appreciating the view.
She also shared a photo of her in a black ski suit, ready to hit the slopes, with the caption, “Ice ice baby.”
The show she participates in along with Melvin and Gareth is Channel 4’s The Greatest Snowman. It stars five celebrities who each compete to see who can create the best snow sculptures in the Alps.
