Gemma Chan steals the spotlight in a flowy red dress as she attends the Cannes Film Festival
Cinema’s favorite treasure hunter is finally back, and in his wake a parade of glamorous stars ventured onto the red carpet as Indiana Jones and the Dial Of Destiny ushered in the third day of the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
While Harrison Ford inevitably claimed the spotlight, Gemma Chan made sure to turn heads in her second premiere in as many days.
The British actress, 40, looked stunning in an elegant red Louis Vuitton evening gown as she greeted photographers in the French seaside town on Thursday night.
The dress featured a tasteful halter neck and eye-catching knotted detail, as a flowy train followed her down the red carpet as she prepared for the final showing of the ceremony.
Strappy heels completed the look and a notable lack of accessories made her outfit take center stage as she joined fellow guests Gemma Chan, Kat Graham, Adriana Lima and Phoebe Waller-Bridge at the event.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is set in the year 1969, after Ford’s Indiana Jones against the background of the American space race.
Jones is said to be “worried” about the US government enlisting former Nazis in their race to beat the Russians to the moon.
Franchise newcomer Phoebe Waller-Bridge joins the sequel as Helena Shaw, Indy’s goddaughter, along with Mads Mikkelsen as Jurgen Voller, an ex-Nazi now working for NASA.
Other newcomers include Antonio Banderas as Indy’s friend Renaldo, Thomas Kretschmann as Colonel Weber, Toby Jones as Basil Shaw, and Boyd Holbrook as Klaber.
Phoebe plays Indiana Jones’ goddaughter Helena Shaw in the film, with filmmakers describing the character as “smooth” and “charming.”

“This is the last movie in the series and this is the last time I play the character. I expect it will be the last time he appears in a movie,” Harrison himself recently confirmed in an interview with Total Film.
In November, it was reported that Disney Plus was in the early stages of developing an Indiana Jones TV series, though Harrison insisted he was not involved in that either.
