Fear for residents when a truck hits a house in a steep street

Emergency services rushed to the scene where a truck crashed into a house.
The incident occurred just after 8am Friday morning on North Valley Rd in Highton, a western suburb of Geelong in Victoria.
Footage from Channel Seven’s news helicopter appears to show skid marks left by the lorry before it entered the house.
It is not yet known whether the occupants of the house or the truck driver were injured.

A building inspector was also called to the scene to assess the safety of the home after the accident.
